Grading the Logbook

Notes
This article is for Entrepreneurship, Management and Marketing simulations.

The Logbook lets you ask students to reflect on their decisions during the simulation. You can create one for a specific round (e.g., "Year 2") or a general one for end-of-simulation reflection.

If you want students to complete entries for multiple rounds, create a separate logbook for each year you wish to evaluate.

Logbooks are flexible and can be used for justifying decisions, reflections, or written evaluations. Once students have completed the Logbook, you can use our tools to grade it.

Follow these steps to grade a logbook:
  1. Log in to www.praxar.com, go to Groups and click ''Access'' on the corresponding group's dashboard.
  2. In the group's dashboard, select the Evaluations tab.
  3. In the Logbook section, move the mouse to the right over the appropriate logbook row and click on the ellipsis (...) to display the menu.

4. Select the option ''Grade the logbook''. A new window will open.

5. For each student, click on the ''View'' button to see their answer.
6. In the “Results” column, use the drop-down menu to record the student's grade (from 1 to 10).
7. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for every student in your list.

Idea
Using the Grading report to grade the Logbook

When configuring your grading report, select the ''Logbook Score (%)'' field to include this score in the final grade.

Note that this score is the average of all the logbooks required for the assessment.
