This article is intended for instructors.

This article is for Entrepreneurship, Management and Marketing simulations.
Team version versus solo version: this article presents all the features of the team version. Some features may not be available in the solo version.
This section provides all the information you will need to track your students' progress during the simulation phase. Most of these features are accessible by clicking on the Results & Analysis tab in the corresponding group dashboard.
Performance
This dashboard provides an overview of how each company is performing. It presents a ranking of the companies based on their main metrics.
1. Simulate button: This button enables you to manually close a round (year) of the simulation, simulate the market and generate the results. This button is always available in the group dashboard. Instructors usually use this button when demonstrating the simulation to students in the classroom. If you run the simulation manually using this button, you do not need to enter a date for that round in the Planner.
2. Year (round) selection: The most recent round is presented by default. To view the results from previous rounds, simply select the appropriate year in the upper left corner of the dashboard.
3. Download decisions history: You can download the records of the decisions made by all companies in an Excel file. This feature allows you to easily compare and analyze the decisions of all companies within the same group.
4. Export in Excel: The companies' performance metrics can be downloaded into an Excel file. This will help you compare them and get valuable insights about their industry.
5. To analyze or assist a specific company, move your mouse over this company row, and click on the ellipsis (...) to access the two-option menu:
- Help or penalize company: The instructor can add or subtract an amount from a company’s income statement at any time. This amount will appear as an “Intervention by the instructor” during the next round of the simulation. Instructors usually use this feature to help companies in difficulty, or to reward or penalize certain classroom behaviours. To know more about this feature, read this article.
- Diagnosis and consistency: Each simulation round, Praxar publishes a report that analyzes the quality of a company's decisions in relation to its strategy. By default, students can access this report. Instructors can use this report to quickly highlight the strengths and weaknesses of a particular company’s decisions.
Financial Statements
The dashboard provides a side-by-side view of financial statements for all companies in a single, easy-to-read file. Each company’s data is shown in separate columns, offering a detailed overview of their performance for a specific round. Select from the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, or Cash Flow Statement, and download the report as an Excel file.
Analysis & Conclusion
This section includes two reports to support classroom instruction.
Annual Analysis of Industry: Generated at the end of each year, this report highlights key areas of interest from the previous round. It helps participants assess industry strengths and weaknesses and understand their market position. This report is available to students by default.
Plenary Session: Produced at the end of each year, this report is typically used at the end of the simulation to summarize key points and reinforce students’ understanding.
