This section shows the same data students see in their Podium view.
Review team financials — they can be downloaded as an Excel file.
Look for top performers, trends, anomalies, or KPIs beyond the main performance set.
Optional: AI-Assisted Analysis
If you’d like support identifying trends within your groups, you can use your preferred GenAI tool (ChatGPT, Gemini, or CoPilot).
Steps:
Download the Income Statements for all teams.
Use this prompt with your AI tool, attaching the report:
“Attached are the income statements of the teams from a recent Praxar simulation. Please analyze the results with a focus on teaching value. Specifically, identify:
Revenue Trends – Which revenue streams (golf, restaurant, pro shop) drive differences between teams?
Profitability Patterns – Where do gross profit margins, operating income, and net income diverge across teams?
Cost Management Insights – Identify cases where high revenues did not lead to strong profits, and explain why.
Winning vs. Struggling Strategies – Point out examples of teams that balanced revenue and costs effectively versus those that overspent.
Teaching Takeaways – Summarize 3–5 key lessons professors can use to guide classroom discussion on financial management and strategic choices in the simulation.”
As always, review the AI-generated insights for accuracy before sharing them with your students, and ensure the insights are also relatable to the simulation content.
