How to use the Engagement report

How to use the Engagement report

Info
This article is intended for instructors.
Notes
This is for Entrepreneurship, Management and marketing simulations.

It is possible to create a custom engagement report for a simulation. This report provides a detailed view of participant interaction in different sections of the simulation, providing an accurate assessment of their engagement and seriousness. A default engagement report configuration is provided. This basic configuration is suitable for most use cases. However, you can modify the indicators and assign different weightings according to your needs.

Alert
Important: The engagement report includes the "Time Spent on Site" metric, which has only been tracked since August 20, 2024. For simulations completed before this date, this indicator will return a value of 0.
To learn how the engagement score is calculated, see this article : The Engagement Report - Detailed Information

To generate the engagement report:
  1. Access your profile on www.praxar.com, go to Groups and click on the ''Access'' button of the corresponding group.
  2. Select the Engagement tab, and click on the ''Generate'' button.
  3. Click on the ellipsis (...) to the right of the row to access the menu.

  4. You can now download, rename or delete the report.

Note that you can also click on the ''Download this report'' icon to get the Excel file.

To modify the engagement report:
  1. In the Engagement tab, click on the ''Configure''button.
  2. You can add or delete an indicator, and modify the weight of each indicator.

Note that the total weighting of all indicators must be equal to 100. If not, it will not be possible to generate the engagement report.

Idea

To copy the engagement report configuration to another group:

  1. In the Engagement tab, click on the ''Copy configuration to...''button.
  2. Select the groups, and click on the ''Copy to selected groups'' button.

Alert
Please be aware that when you create an engagement report for a group by copying from another group, the two configurations remain entirely independent!

For instance, if you set up a configuration for Group A and then copy this configuration to Group B, any changes made to Group A’s configuration will not be automatically reflected in Group B. To update Group B with the latest configuration from Group A, you will need to repeat the copy process.
