By default, students enrolled in the simulation are identified by their first and last names.

However, as an alternative, their registration number or any other ID can be used.

The Student ID field is useful mainly for identifying students when they complete evaluations. Occasionally, two students in the same class share the exact same first and last names. Therefore, alternative codes for identifying students can be used.

1. Access your portal at www.praxar.com, go to Groups and click on the “Access” button of the corresponding simulation group.
2. Select the Settings tab, and click on the ''Yes'' button to the question  ''Ask Student ID''.
   
3. Name the field for ''Student ID'', and enter instructions for students.
   

When the Student ID field is used, students must enter their student ID when they log in for the first time after the field is activated.

1. From the Participants tab, select the student in the Participant List.
   
2. Move your mouse over the student's row, and click on the ''Modify Student ID'' icon.
   
3. Change Student ID, and click on the ''Save'' button.
