Onboarding Students

Info
This article is intended for instructors.

Setting your students up for success starts with a smooth introduction to the simulation experience. To save time and ensure that every student has the necessary information, Praxar provides ready-to-use resources that you can easily share with your class.

Intro PPT:
A comprehensive PowerPoint that introduces students to the simulation, explains the purpose of the exercise, and walks them through essential platform features. This is the primary document to share with your students.

Student Guide PPT:
Depending on the simulation, you may also have access to a guide that offers more detailed instructions for navigating the simulation.

Student Intro Video (bonus):
Some simulations include a bonus video designed to help students get comfortable with the platform and its functionality.

You can find all these resources under the Documents tab in your Instructor Portal.

Pro Tip: Share Links, Not Files

When sharing these resources with your students, always provide the direct link rather than downloading and re-uploading files into your LMS.

  • This ensures that your students always have access to the most up-to-date versions of the materials.

  • If updates or improvements are made to the content, students will see those changes immediately.
