Financial Accounting: Using the Glossary to add additionnal information to the Statements

The Statements are the tasks that a student needs to perform in the simulation.

Notes
Please note, that within the Glossary, the section names remain default. The section names can be changed for a simulation. For more information on this, please refer to our Story Editor article.

Clicking on any of the categories will drop down all the statements available in that section:




Clicking on one of the statements will open it on the right-hand side of the screen.
  1. You can then add additional text to appear at the bottom of the Statement, which is what the student is first presented with.
  2. You can also add additional information to the Transaction details section, which is what the student can see after they complete the statement.
  3. Likewise, you can additionally add text to the Note section also if desired, which the student can also see once the statement task is complete.

Changes are saved automatically, and they can be deleted at any time also if needed.

For an example, let's add text to the Cash purchase statement as such:
