What effect do cases (situations) have on students’ final results?

This article is intended for instructors.

This article is for Entrepreneurship, Management and Marketing simulations.
Every decision that students enter will affect their company’s results.
In fact, these simulations are designed to help students think about the types of business situations that occur in the real world.
However, students will make decisions as they see fit and according to their interests. Nothing is totally black or white in business or in the simulation, so no single decision is inherently better than another.
Thus, the effect of cases on students’ results will be relatively small and should not change the podium standings for the simulation.
