Using the 360-Degree Evaluation

Using the 360-Degree Evaluation

Info

Notes
This article is for Entrepreneurship, Management and Marketing simulations.
You can use this assessment to evaluate three types of feedback:

    • Participant self-assessment
    • Participant assessment of the team
    • Participant assessment of their teammates

To do so, you will need to set up a 360-Degree Evaluation for each year you would like to assess. For example, if you would like the students to complete a 360-Degree Evaluation for years 2 and 6, you will need to create two separate 360-Degree Evaluations. You can title them “Year 2” and “Year 6” to make it easier for students to find and complete the appropriate assessment.

Follow these steps to create a 360-Degree Evaluation:

  1. Log in to www.praxar.com and go to the appropriate simulation.
  2. In the Evaluation panel, click on “Access.”
  3. In the “360-Degree Evaluation” section, click on “Create a new 360-Degree Evaluation.” A new pop-up window will open.
  4. Give the assessment a title such as “Year 1” and enter any special instructions to the students (optional). Then choose the criteria you would like to evaluate. If you like, you can also enter the date the assessment will become available as well as a deadline for completion. If you enter a date, the 360-Degree Evaluation will automatically be added to the calendar. If you prefer, you can decide on these dates later on.

The results can be accessed in two ways:

1. Results accessed in the Evaluation panel of the simulation -  Compilation of 360-Degree Evaluation

2. Using the Report Generator to create a custom report - Report Generator

The list of all the 360-Degree Evaluations to be completed will appear in the Evaluation panel on the student portal.
