Preparation: Tutorials and Practice Zone

Info
This article is intended for students only.

Notes
This article is for Entrepreneurship, Management and Marketing simulations.

AlertTutorials and the Practice Zone must be completed before the simulation begins. This is a preparatory phase.

Tutorials

Tutorials enable you to familiarize yourself with the industry context in which your company will be operating throughout the simulation. This is an essential step in understanding the various concepts used in the simulation.

At the end of each tutorial, there is a 5-question quiz to validate your understanding. Each question is worth a maximum of 5 points. The number of points you receive depends on the number of attempts you need to get the right answer.

Practice Zone

The practice zone lets you train before the real simulation begins. You can play at your own pace, while facing up to five virtual companies. There is no interaction with your classmates.

The results you achieve in the practice zone will not be available to your instructor, so this means you won't be assessed at this stage on performance criteria, however your teacher will have access to your progress.

Idea
The time you spend playing in the Practice Zone will help you to be better prepared to face the real simulation. Use this opportunity to learn how the platform works and the rules of the game.
Explore every section, every report and every tool at your disposal!

Notes
Instructions

Your instructor will decide if there is a minimum number of required rounds to do or not. These instructions will be indicated in the Practice Zone.

Other than the number of rounds required, there are no specific instructions. You can play as many rounds as you want in the Practice Zone. The SIMULATE button gives you the possibility to validate your decisions, go back one year, or start again from the beginning.
