Info

Notes
This article is for Entrepreneurship, Management and Marketing simulations.

Due to any number of reasons, sometimes instructors will find themselves with a student who has entered into the course late.

Fortunately, there are three options on how they can still experience the Simulation:

1) Adding a new Team to a simulation: This can be done only during the Test year and Year 1. After Year 1 has simulated, new teams can no longer be created.

Please see the following article: Adding new Teams to a simulation

2) Adding a student to an existing Team: If the student is not far behind, you may find that this option will be the most efficient.

Please see the following article: Forming Teams manually

3) Having a Solo deployment created: If options 1 or 2 do not fit your circumstances, having a Solo deployment created will be the last option. Upon request, Praxar support will create another deployment that will allow the student to participate in a separate simulation.

Alert

NOTE:

In the solo version, the student will be competing against 5 virtual companies, not their classmates.

In the solo version, each student controls the SIMULATE button themselves, which allows them to advance from one round to the next. Instructors may wish to control the rate of progress.

Please see the following article: Controlling the stage of progress of participants
