How to use the StudentID field

Info
This article is intended for instructors.

By default, students enrolled in the simulation are identified by their first and last names.

However, as an alternative, their registration number or any other ID can be used.

The StudentID field is useful mainly for identifying students when they complete evaluations. This is because occasionally two students in the same class share the exact same first and last names. Therefore alternative codes for identifying students can be used.

Notes
To activate the StudentID field, you will need to contact customer service (service@praxar.com). You can customize the StudentID field to suit your needs by renaming it (e.g., Student No.) or displaying a brief description.

When the StudentID field is used, students must enter their student ID when they log in for the first time (or the first time after the field is activated ).

As the instructor, you can edit the StudentID field from the Instructor Portal. To do so, simply click on the student file (+) in the list of students. To access the student file, see the article Managing the list of students and teams
