How to register for a Praxar simulation?
This article is intended for participants.
I don't have an existing Praxar account
Your instructor will provide you with a registration link, which looks something like this:
https://praxar.com/collection/en/join/sim-xxxx-xx
Steps to register
1. Copy the registration link and paste it into a new browser window.
2. Follow the on-screen steps to create your Praxar account.
3. The system will automatically:
- Enter the simulation code for you
- Display your instructor's name and institution
4. Confirm that you are registering for the correct simulation.
5. If prompted, enter your Student ID.
6. When asked how you would like to activate your simulation, select:
"I want to make an online payment."
Praxar uses Stripe, a secure online payment platform that offers flexible payment options, depending on your location and payment method.
About activation codes
Activation codes are only used by a small number of Quebec institutions that offer a Praxar combo textbook.
If your course uses this option, the activation code will be foundinside your newly purchased textbook.

Steps to join a new simulation
2. Click on "Join a simulation" in the bottom-left corner of your screen:
3. Enter the Simulation Code provided by your instructor. (This is also the last 9 characters of the registration link, for example: sim-xxxx-xx)
4. Click "Validate".
5. Activate your simulation by selecting:
"I want to make an online payment."
