In the Golf simulation, the revenue projections depend on the targets for the number of games sold, as set out by the Chair of the Board.
For example, if the target is 10% higher than the previous year, the simulation displays the expenses and revenues for all the company’s activities reflecting a 10% increase in the number of games.
- Some expenses depend directly on your budget decisions with regard to maintenance, employee pay and investments.
- Other expenses are estimated automatically by the simulation based on various parameters (sales forecasts, amortization of project costs, etc.).
The Estimated Budget allows participants to check the impact of their decisions and correct them before the deadline.
Students can see the Estimated Budget in real time on all the decision forms. The link is on the left side of each form.
