Forming teams manually

Info
This article is intended only for instructors.

Notes
This article applies only to the Team version.
This article is for Entrepreneurship, Management and Marketing simulations.

Although you can create teams on the instructor portal, we recommend that you form the teams in class. For more information, see Forming teams in class.

Follow these steps to form teams manually:

  1. Log in to www.praxar.com and go to the appropriate simulation.
  2. Start by creating all the teams that will participate in the simulation. See Adding new teams to a simulation for help if needed.
  3. In the list of students, click on the arrow to the right of the selected student’s name.
  4. From the drop-down list that appears, select the name of the team to which you want to add this student.
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for all the students to create the teams.

If a student is assigned to the wrong team by mistake, you can remove their name from the team and repeat steps 3 and 4 to add it to the appropriate team.  For more information, see Moving a student from one team to another.

AlertIdeaNotes
If a student’s name is not on the list, the student must register for the simulation before their name will appear.
