Creating Report Templates

The Report generator within the Instructor Zone is a highly useful tool to allow the customization of reports for our simulations. Using report templates to save the main parameters of a report can help speed up the process if using similar reports often.
1. To access, open the Instructor Zone by clicking here:
2. Then in the Reports menu, you can either open a previously created report or create a new one.
3. Once all the desired fields have been chosen, in the "Select report fields" screen, you can click on the "Save selected fields as a template" button:
The drop-down arrow on this button, allows you to update an existing template if needed.
4. Give the template a name and click on "Create"
5. To access the template click on the drop-down arrow next to the "Create New" button and then click on "Create from a template".
6. You can now select the template you wish, by choosing the simulation type, language and previously created template. You also need to give the new report a name. Once done, click on "Create".
