Creating a new questionnaire
This article is intended for instructors.
This article is for Entrepreneurship, Management and Marketing simulations.
You can create one or more questionnaires using questions from the question library or using your own questions.
Follow these steps to create a new questionnaire:
- Log in to www.praxar.com and go to the appropriate simulation.
- In the “Evaluation” panel, click on “Access.”
- In the “Questionnaire” panel, click on “Create a new questionnaire.”
- In the pop-up window, enter a name for the questionnaire and click “Add.” The questionnaire creation tool will then open.
- To add a question, click on one of the five options in the menu on the left:
- Multiple choice
- True or false
- Tutorial questions
- Questions from Praxar
- Your existing questionnaires
You can use these options as follows:
Multiple choice True or false |
Use these options to create your own questions. |
Tutorial questions |
Use this option to import the review questions from the tutorials in the Preparation phase. |
Questions from Praxar |
Use this option to import questions suggested by the simulation designers. |
Your existing questionnaires |
Use this option to import questions from your old questionnaires or from questionnaires created by other instructors at your institution. |
Results can be obtained in two ways:
- To compile the results of a questionnaire within the simulation, see Compiling a questionnaire
- Using the Report Generator to create a custom report, see Report Generator
If you would like to use the same questionnaire for more than one group, see Re-using a questionnaire for another group
If you want to use a questionnaire that you created in a previous session, see Re-using an old questionnaire
For practical reasons, the questionnaires you create are also available to all other instructors at the same educational institution in the archives of “Your existing questionnaires.”
